RIOT ENTERTAINMENT SECURES FUNDING FOR INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION

 

Helsinki - April 19, 2000 - RIOT Entertainment ("RIOT-E"), the Finnish wireless entertainment publishing company pioneering global services for mobile users, has attracted funding for its international expansion from Nokia Ventures and epartners, the internet investment vehicle of Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation.

RIOT-E develops and distributes entertainment services and games to mobile terminals in partnership with leading international entertainment companies and technology companies. Currently RIOT-E develops in partnership with 20th Century Fox the first wireless game tied in with a feature film -Titan AE. The game will be launched worldwide this summer. RIOT-E is one of the first wireless entertainment publishers in the world to offer its services globally. The products are based on SMS*, WAP* and other emerging technologies.
