Nevis Networks Names Charles Dauber President And Chief Executive Officer
SANTA CLARA, Calif - (July 18, 2005) - Nevis Networks, an emerging provider of LAN security systems, announced today that veteran network security executive Charles Dauber has been named president and chief executive officer. Dauber, who replaces former CEO Suresh Nihilani, will drive the successful penetration of Nevis' "Personal DMZ™" technology into the enterprise market. Dauber previously held the roles of vice president of marketing, vice president of security products, and vice president of corporate development at leading network security company Blue Coat Systems (NASDAQ: BCSI). Dauber took the lead in successfully repositioning and re-launching network caching vendor CacheFlow as Blue Coat Systems, creating the market-leading internal security company with over $120 million in annualized revenues. Prior to Blue Coat, Dauber was CEO of a broadband services provider and held marketing and sales positions at Copper Mountain Networks and Teradyne, Inc.
