Industry Veteran Leads Innovator in Fingerprint Recognition Technology for Mobile Devices
Campbell, California – October 1, 2003 - Atrua Technologies, Inc., formerly I-Control Security, Inc., a privately held company and leading provider of fingerprint recognition technology for mobile devices, announced today the appointment of industry veteran Anthony Gioeli as its new President and CEO. Peter Buhl, a partner at Nokia Venture Partners who had previously served as the company’s interim CEO, becomes the new chairman of the board.

Mr. Gioeli comes to Atrua with over fifteen years of executive management experience, having served as CEO of AirPrime, a supplier of cellular radios to mobile phone and PDA manufacturers, and as Vice President of Xircom's Worldwide OEM Business Unit. At Xircom, he built that business unit from the ground up into a major PC industry supplier, growing the company’s annual OEM sales to more than $200 million. Most recently, Mr. Gioeli served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Nomadix, a leading provider of public access networking solutions.
