Sujit Banerjee

Sujit Banerjee brings 9 years of venture capital investment experience. Most recently he was a Partner with BlueRun Ventures and currently remains as an Operating Partner with BlueRun, where he looks at early stage cleantech and mobile technology companies. In addition, he recently joined Element Partners, a leading clean technology Private Equity fund, as an Operating Partner. At BlueRun, Sujit founded their Cleantech practice as well as their India office. His dual interests in Cleantech and India led to the investment in Deeya Energy where he established the Company’s go-to-market strategy in India leveraging a technology developed at NASA. He was also acting COO for Deeya Energy. In addition, Sujit led their investment in Petrasolar, a leading renewable energy systems company. His other investments include Slicex, Cyoptics, Magsil, Nexplanar and Sasken (BSE: SASKEN). Prior to Bluerun, Sujit was a Principal with TL Ventures. At TL Sujit led investments in Pre-IPO companies Atrenta and Sonics, respective leaders in their field. Past experience include an Investment Banker with Merrill Lynch, a Management Consultant to several companies in the Semiconductor Industry and an Engineer with Synoptics Communications.

Sujit received his M.B.A. from the Wharton Business School, where he was Chairman of the Wharton India Economic Forum, and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with Eta Kappa Nu academic honors.
Kari-Pekka "KP" Wilska

One of the cellular industry’s true pioneers, Kari-Pekka “K-P” Wilska has been a driving force in Nokia’s rise to its position as the largest wireless supplier in the world. Since joining Nokia in 1973, Mr. Wilska has held numerous management and marketing positions, serving in executive posts with Nokia Inc. (President), Nokia Mobile Phones (SVP), Nokia Cellular Systems (SVP), Nokia Telecommunications, and Mobira Oy. Mr. Wilska retired from Nokia in 2005. In November 2005 Mr Wilska joined Austin Ventures as a venture partner, and as of June 1st 2009 he started as Operating Partner Blue Run Ventures.

Mr. Wilska is on the Board of Directors of Brightpoint Inc (CELL), WySpri Inc, 724 Solutions Inc, BlackSand Inc, Mavenir Systems Inc, and Fusion One Inc. He has served as a Board of Director of Spectra Site Inc (AMT) , Agere (LSI) and Zarlink Inc (ZL). Mr. Wilska serves as well on the Boards Dallas Opera and Fort Worth Opera.

Mr. Wilska holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio and Television Technology from the Helsinki Institute of Technology. He was a recipient of the Electronics Engineering Association of Finland’s bi-annual EIS Award in 1995, received the CTIA’s President Award in 1999, and was recognized by Wireless Foundation with Industry Achievement Award 2002 and Engineering Association of Finland appointed him as the Engineer of the Year 2003.
